Give your young climbing plants a sturdy start with these hand-made natural coco coir moss poles. The perfect aerial root support for your smaller plants. Water it regularly to promote root growth and watch those climbing plants take hold with their aerial roots.
A top tip on encouraging stray roots to grip on the pole would be to tie them onto the pole with a bit of excess string, keep it moist and let the plant do the rest. We'll throw in an extra piece of twine for you! These are handmade items and so each one may vary slightly.
The size of each pole is 50cm in length. They consist of a bamboo cane, wrapped in a healthy layer of coco coir moss, tied up with strong 3-ply twine. Each pole has 3/4 (40cm) covered in coconut coir and 1/4 (10cm) exposed bamboo cane at the base. The width of the bamboo cane is approximately 1cm, with the width of the cane and the coco coir together being approximately 3cm
